Nicki Minaj has finally landed a role on the big screen, though the world may not be quite ready for her unique style. Everybody’s favourite sexy R&B star will be staying off camera for her part in the fourth instalment of the popular Ice Age computer animated cartoon series.
Though the exact nature of Minaj’s role has not yet been revealed, we know that she went into the studio earlier this year to record her voice track for the part. The landing of this role has led to rumours of more movie offers flooding into the Minaj camp, but it is not yet known if the star is ready to take a break from her successful music career to take time out for filming.
Minaj is famous for her often outrageous outfits, rocking everything from neon dresses to customised Converse trainers. Having denied rumours of bisexuality Nicki has said that she also doesn’t date boys, but instead embraces all people of all lifestyles.
So if you’re looking for your chance to woo the lovely Miss Minaj why not buy some Superdry jackets online, or even some Bench coats and get the next plane to L.A.? You never know…#

Niki Minaj has suffered some quite well publicised wardrobe malfunctions recently, not least the Janet Jackson style “Nip Slip” at the GMA’s. Hardly surprising though considering just how gorgeous her outfits these days seem to be. Perhaps its time for her to calm down and start wearing stuff like the rest of us from bench and a pair of adidas originals. No? Seriously! We love Nicki because of her incredible fashion style and talent, and the odd malfunction wont put us, the fans off.
Even if it does lead to the odd headline for things that might just happen to go wrong, at the very least that is getting her out there and raising the profile so if that’s what it takes, then we’re perfectly happy with it!

When the news that Britney Spears was taking MC Nicki Minaj on the road with her hit, fans and Brit herself couldn't have been more excited. The Femme Fatale Tour is now in full swing, with both women bringing their A-game to each performance. And along the way, it seems as if these two have sparked a friendship.
"I think she's great," Spears told MTV News of Minaj. "She's a great artist in every way and I'm really happy for her."
Minaj, who is nominated for three Video Music Awards, brings her own flair to the girl-power tour, adding her eccentric style, her fiery wigs and, of course, her signature beats.
"I think she has a distinct sound when she raps," Spears said. "It really stands out and sets her apart from everyone else. I'm happy she's able to be on tour with me because that's just amazing."
Last month, we caught up with Minaj just before she hit the road with the pop veteran, and she was ready to take that distinct sound to a whole new fanbase.
"I'm just trying to put more theater on that stage. So much to me is music, but it's also about putting on a show, so that's my goal: to truly put on a show and incorporate theater and dance," Minaj said.
And if you're lucky, you might just catch Spears and Minaj team up for a special performance of the remix for "Till the World Ends."
"At the end of the show, the last song she comes on every once in awhile," Spears said of Minaj joining her onstage. "Not every show, but it's usually special when she does it."
VIBE's own Rob Kenner was attendance at this year's Reggae Sumfest 2011 and was granted exclusive access to Young Money's princess Nicki Minaj. Backstage after the show, they chopped it about Nicki's love for riddims.
"I always include a Reggae segment in my shows, even on the Britney Spears Tour because I love Jamaican culture and dancehall music. I grew up on it. Since I was little, I've loved Beanie Man, Lady Saw and Bounty Killer," add Nicki.
"Even the new people like Mavado and Vybz, it's always been a part of me."
