The 30-year-old entertainer served as a judge on the show’s twelfth season alongside Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and Randy Jackson and reports have said that none of them will return next year.
Nicki Minaj is reportedly leaving American Idol after this current season, Us Weekly reports.
“It’s safe to say she isn’t coming back to Idol,” a source told the mag about the 30-year-old entertainer, also adding that she will be focusing on her album, touring, and endorsements instead. “She’s okay with it. She had a great time but was only going to do one season anyway.”
