Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey take the stage at the 2013 Winter TCA Tour panel for American Idol held at the Langham Hotel on Tuesday (January 8) in Pasadena, Calif. The two new American Idol judges were joined on stage by fellow newcomer Keith Urban, as well as Randy Jackson, Ryan Seacrest, and producer Nigel Lythgoe. Mariah recently spoke with Barbara Walters about the fight she had with Nicki. “Anytime anybody’s reeling threats at somebody, you know, that’s just — it’s not appropriate,” Mariah said. “I’ve got two babies; I’m not going to take any chances. Yeah, I did hire more security. I just felt it was the appropriate thing to do.” Check out the interview below!
