Nicki Minaj got a nice gift on the set of Jay Sean’s “2012 (It Ain’t the End)” video, which she’s also featured in. Her boss Cash Money founder Birdman (Baby) Williams surprised her with a white Chanel J12 Chronograph Ceramic Watch (approx. $6,900). Not sure what she did that called for such a grand gesture, but I’ll attribute it to her recent success. Must be nice.

Nicki Minaj, always one to draw all the attention, decided to rock an archival Ecru Tulle Rochas by Olivier Theyskens Gown from the Spring 2004 collection. She modified it from a lingerie bustier to a halter and added a large chandelier type necklace for more of a pop (as if it needed it). Not sure of the retail price on the gown, but it’s safe to say it was probably on the pricey side. I love how Nicki does her own thing. 2 thumbs up!

Nicki Minaj hit the stage at yesterday’s Summer Jam 2010 concert in  New Jersey wearing Look 1 from Versace’s Spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection. She also wore a custom-made pair of spiked 2BD Hellraiser Boots designed by my girl Jennifer Le of 2BD.

I love the dress, and love the boots, but definitely not when worn together. The heels are wayyyyy too edgy for a dress like this.
